Day 4: Green - China Glaze - Emerald Sparkle (and my new love - Poshe!)

Gahhhhh, it is taking me forever to do this challenge. I'm sorry I'm so slow at posting mani pictures, guys. You've probably noticed a bit of a change in my posting. I have started posting giveaways to share them so that everyone can try to get some fun new polishes. I like to share these, but it's also because of time constraints I've had recently. My schedule at work really isn't conducive to allow for me to have time to paint my nails. I only really get time Tuesday or Thursday mornings, and I can't paint them at night when Will is home because he hates the smell (and it's about to get too cold outside to go out there). Bah. So more giveaway posts and I will try my hardest to get mani's out every week. There is one more thing that may help me out with that though... Poshe Topcoat! More on that below!

But for now - here is the beautiful Emerald Sparkle by China Glaze for my day 4 green in the 31 Day Challenge! I am seriously loving this polish, and got soooo many compliments on it at work Monday! It's a lovely deep emerald green glitter.

For this manicure, I used a basecoat of Borghese Brilliante, three coats of Emerald Sparkle, and one amazing coat of Poshe Topcoat. The Poshe is absolutely brilliant! This is a definite improvement over the Borghese topcoat that bubbled everything. Poshe left my mani shining and rock hard extremely quickly. It was so dry that when I took a nap 30 minutes after applying it, I had absolutely no signs of dents from my sheets. I have not used a fast-drying topcoat before, but I can say that this one was definitely worth the price for its convenience. Now I don't have to sit around all day waiting on my mani to completely dry; I can go about my day as I normally would.

These pictures were all taken on day two of me wearing it, including a shift of serving at Outback. Now you tell me that Poshe isn't a damn good topcoat. I've been converted! All hail Poshe! So, I think that Poshe will help me in posting pictures more often because painting my nails won't be such a huge inconvenience anymore! Yay!

Alright, now some extra sparkle spam! Woohoo! Click for zoomed-in sparkly-ness!

It just shines in the sunlight, and really is a great polish for festive manicures. I'm sure it will stick around through Thanksgiving for me - when we go to see Will's family. I even made truffles to bring along. Fun stuff!

I hope you enjoyed the mani! Until next time!
